well time for an update i think so here we go.

after a period of several weeks without any new deviations, i was sudden grabbed by the urge to write and submit so, having acted on this urge there are now:

2 new poems
5 new photographs

which have so far been favourably received.

i'd be great if you guys could take a look and pass some judgement on them for me.

so this thought struck me whilst walking though the wood with my dog, i have come to the conclusion that since i enrolled in my local college and started drinking more with friends from work, i have subconsciously been altering personality to be accepted by those who surround me. this is a very bad thing as i believe that my individuality is at stake because before enrolling in the college and leaving 6th form, when i was surround by friends and familiar faces i had an extensive vocabulary, and used it to express my self with eloquence, i also randomly philosophised about life, love and the universe, both of these personality traits are becoming hidden aces, used only i'm in the presence of close friends and family.

so in a effort to save my identity, i shall start posting random musings and theories about life in the hope of starting debate. and just to be controversial:

"how do you view the holy text of your religion, what does it mean to you"

me personally as a catholic view the bible as 80% bullshit and tend to follow only the 10 commandments, and the greatest commandment of them all "love thy neighbour as you love thy self". this is because most of the bible was written by men and artistic license will have undoubtably been taken when it was written. i essentially view the bible (the parts i follow) as a guide to fuctioning successful in a fair and good society.

how about you?

figured it was about time i posted a new journal as i was sick of looking at my rant about drunken idiots fighting, well so far this year I have finished two of my IT courses, i just need to get the money together to sit the certification exams. I also started two more courses one being a continuation of my last course on windows 2003 servers. the other new course is a two year Cisco networking course which is rather interesting so far.

this update is just a chance for me to vent my spleen on recent incidents so if your not interested in reading rants then stop reading now......

ok for those still reading i decided to venture out to the local pubs and clubs to celebrate the new year and was having a great time in the first bar drinking dancing and generally having a good time, however i then met up with a group of friends and we proceeded to a second bar where my supposed "cousin" and another girl from our little group started arguing, a continuation of something that happened at work, this led to the other girl slapping my "cousin" in the face because she insulted her. i had to break this fight up with the help of another bystander ( who i am really quite thankful too). however 10 minutes later the other girl drags my "cousin" outside and i follow expecting more trouble to find her pulling my "cousins" hair and yelling in her face. i then tried my best to break this fight up but others then got involved and i was threatened with violence for trying to stop the fight, at which point i decided to go home because i was sick off putting up with this shit. as i left i found that the other girl had been ejected and i was told not to bring her back, and being the only embarrassed party i apologies to the bouncer for their actions and walked home alone.

for gods sake, i swear i'm never drinking with either of them again and they are both as bad as each other and i fucking hate being the appointed referee

well today i awoke feeling a little worse for wear having consumed a skin full of spirits the previous night, the reason you ask? in celebrate of my nineteenth year on this earth. the night out was one of the best that i have had, stumbling from club to club with my brother, one of my mates and two 30 year old women who joined our group, as acquaintances of my brother. good times were had by all as we danced and cavorted about like idiots.

also i believe that i have discovered the best diet in the world as i am actually 5 pounds lighter than when i went out last night, thats right people i actually lost weigh via alcohol consumption, lol
